ANDERNACH GEYSER

At a height of up to 60 metres, the Andernach Geyser is the highest cold-water geyser in the world. Unlike geysers found in Iceland, for example, which are "driven" by thermal energy, the Andernach geyser bubbles through rising carbon dioxide (CO2). A leisurely boat trip on Father Rhine takes you from the Geyser Centre to the geyser itself.
