Zoo Neuwied

Neuwied Zoo is the largest zoo in Rhineland-Palatinate. Whether it’s chimpanzees, lions, monitor lizards, crocodiles, seals, penguins or flamingos, toucans, Bactrian camels, tapirs, meerkats or the largest herd of kangaroos outside Australia - there is something new to discover every day at Neuwied Zoo. Paved paths, level building entrances, zoo restaurant, disabled toilets, wheelchair hire, trolley hire, baby changing room and special guided tours for people with disabilities. Due to the topography, part of the zoo is only accessible via relatively steep paths, for wheelchair users only with assistance. Dogs are not allowed in the zoo.
